Yang Hui

    Yang Hui, a professional craft artist, was born in 1956. He is a director of Xu Beihong Art Research Association, a member of the Chinese Artists Association of Inner Mongolia Branch, and the director of Inner Mongolia Youth Calligraphy and Painters Association. In 2000, he moved to Guilin, Guangxi province. He worked as the dean in the School of Fine Art in Guilin and worked as the Vice President Guilin Chinese and Foreign Art Research Association. Hui attended Shanghai Fudan University where he received his deploma in pattern seminar in 1989. He continued his education in the Central Academy of Fine Arts where he obtained a master degree in fine art. He was introduced to famous painter Bai Ming, Yao Youduo, Huang Jun and Fan Zeng, and improved his painting skill dramaticly. Hui was known particularly for his meticulous figure paitings, and some of his artworks have won awards in painting and calligraphy competitions, Japan's silver award of the International Exchange Exhibition of Oriental Calligraphy Art, third prize in the 50th Anniversary of Inner Mongolia Artists Association Exhibition. Many of his artworks were cited in book like "Works of Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers.Portfolio" and "a Middle-Aged Painter and Calligrapher Portfolio"
