Kong Qingyi

    Kong Qingyi was born in a scholarly family in 1947 in Henan Province, a native of Shandong Qufu. Qingyi is the seventy third generation descendant of Confucius. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Henan Art Association, the director Calligraphy Painters Association of Henan Province, the owner of the Yi Bao Zhai. He traveled extensively to the mountains and rivers all over the country, and studies from many painting masters in Shanxi, Shandong, Henan provinces. He is known special for Xingshu and Lishu calligraphy, and flowers birds paintings. He has invited on a number of well-known part of the television station report, and his works are found in private and public collections in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Europe. Qingyi's works and his biography is incorporated into "Contemporary Works of Calligraphy and Painting Grand View ","Contemporary Chinese Painters and Calligraphers Dictionary".
